Camillion turns a child's idea into a song and a film. That means handling their drawings, their words, and sometimes their photo. Here is exactly what happens to all of it.
Nothing is stored before it is checked
Every image uploaded to Camillion passes an AI safety review before it reaches our storage. If the check fails, the file is refused and never saved.
Photos lose their hidden data
Phone photos carry invisible metadata, often including GPS coordinates. We re-encode every upload, which strips all of it before storage.
We do not train AI on your child's content
Prompts, uploads, lyrics, and generated songs are never used to train Camillion's own models, and we use provider settings intended to keep them out of third-party training too.
Accounts are intended for adults
The account-based service is intended for adults, parents, guardians, and educators. Children should use Camillion with appropriate parent, guardian, or educator supervision.
What gets checked, and when
Every image is reviewed by an AI safety check before it is stored. The check is not optional and not a background job: if the safety reviewer is unavailable, the upload is refused rather than let through.
Text is checked too. When a child describes their character in their own words, that description passes a strict child-safety review before anything is generated from it. The same applies to lyrics they edit by hand.
Camillion also has a gift mode, used by adults to make a song for someone else — a birthday tribute for a grandparent, say. That mode is operated by an adult for a recipient of any age, so its content review is tuned for adult-made gifts rather than for a child at the keyboard. The child-facing experience always runs the strict review.
What happens to a photo
A photo taken on a phone usually carries hidden metadata: the camera, the timestamp, and very often the exact GPS coordinates where it was taken. Camillion re-encodes every uploaded image, which removes all of that before the file is stored. The location where a photo was taken never reaches our storage.
Uploading a photo of a real person in gift mode requires explicitly confirming you have permission to use it. That confirmation is enforced before the image is processed, not as a checkbox that only affects the interface.
Your child's content is not training data
We do not use prompts, uploads, lyrics, generated assets, or project content to train Camillion's own AI models. Where our AI providers offer settings, paid API tiers, or contractual terms intended to keep submitted content out of their shared model training, we use them.
Providers may still process or briefly retain content in order to deliver the service, prevent abuse, or meet their own legal obligations, under their terms. We would rather say that plainly than imply a guarantee we cannot make.
Where the data lives
The application, the database holding your account and projects, and every generated image, song, and film are hosted in the European Union. Our servers and media storage run in Belgium; error monitoring runs in Germany.
The AI generation itself is the exception, and it is worth being precise about: creating a song or an image sends the necessary prompt and media to our AI providers, and their processing may happen outside the EU under standard transfer safeguards. Our privacy policy covers this in full.
Nothing is public unless you make it public
Every project is private to your account by default. Sharing is something you turn on per project, and turning it off disables the link immediately. There is no public feed, and nothing a child makes is published anywhere by default.
One thing we ask of you
Please keep genuinely sensitive personal details — full names of other children, addresses, schools, anything you would not want written into a song — out of prompts, lyrics, and project notes. Camillion is built for imaginary friends and dinosaurs, and it works best when that is what it is given.
